Pricing information:
Spanish-English / English-Spanish interpretation: $75/hour, with a 2-hour minimum for scheduled assignments.
Written translation: $0.20/word, with a minimum project fee of $50. • Specialized, highly technical, or rush projects are quoted based on complexity, scope, and turnaround requirements.
Mileage/travel for assignments outside the local service area may be billed separately.
Typical translation turnaround is 2 –5 business days, depending on length and complexity. Shorter documents and urgent requests may be accommodated when my schedule permits. I believe language professionals should be valued not simply for bilingual ability, but for the expertise, preparation, cultural knowledge, and responsibility required to communicate accurately and effectively across languages and communities.

I am a bilingual English/Spanish language professional with extensive experience providing translation and interpretation services in health care, education, workforce development, community services, public affairs, and local government. As a bicultural, first-generation Mexican-American professional, I bring not only fluency in both languages but also a deep understanding of the cultural context, communication styles, and lived experiences that can affect how information is understood.
My experience includes interpreting for health care and social service settings, community meetings, trainings, workshops, public programs, and one-on-one conversations, as well as translating written materials, outreach materials, forms, educational resources, presentations, and public communications. I have also developed bilingual communications and outreach strategies designed specifically to make information accessible and meaningful to Spanish-speaking communities.
My background includes more than a decade of work serving the Columbia Gorge community, including work with farmworker and Latino communities, health care organizations, workforce programs, schools, nonprofit organizations, and local government. I have extensive experience communicating complex or sensitive information in a clear, respectful, and culturally responsive way.
